and celebrate our home-made vegan cuisine, brought to you at the beautiful beach of Chaloklum in Koh Phangan.

We are passionate about creating clean, simple and healthy food and we make every effort to ensure that most of our products are organic or locally sourced.

In our open kitchen all dishes are prepared to order without any artificial additives or hidden ingredients. We believe that the food we prepare is a way to eat in harmony with nature and enjoy life in both highly pleasurable and environmentally-friendy way.

We hope that Foods & Roots will become your day-to-day cosy spot where you can enjoy a wide range of healthy and flavoursome food while sipping one of the many unique juices, teas and organic wines, and admiring the splendid view of Chaloklum bay.

The food we serve is the food we eat and we will go out of our way to ensure that we deliver an unforgettable experience with every dish we serve.

Our food is low on fat and salt, MSG-free and never microwaved. All utensils are stainless still, we use high-quality cold pressed oils, organic grains &supplements, seeds & nuts, olives, herbs & spices. Foods & Roots is a plastic free space and we hope that with small steps we can make a difference.

We are a laptop-free space

As much we understand and appreciate the desire to combine work and pleasure, while enjoying our food and the pristine Chaloklum bay, we would like to keep this slice of paradise as authentic as possible, allowing our guests to have an experience away from computers, social media interactions and any computer related work.

The island is teeming with co-working spaces and cafes, that are dedicated to digital nomads and people alike, where nobody will mind to have their lunch or dinner with laptops, headphones and a physical presence that is typical for offices in the big cities. We all traveled thousands of miles running away from those big cities, to have a slightly different life, and we would be delighted if you decide to join us being for brunch, lunch or romantic dinner.
